Lane reduction on Acadie Avenue

DIEPPE NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that lanes on Acadie Avenue will be reduced as of Tuesday, August 6, outside peak hours, between Marché and Alain-Gillette streets. This lane reduction is necessary to allow for the construction of a private development.
Once the work is completed, all four lanes of avenue Acadie will be open, but will be slightly less wide for a few months.

Dieppe Celebrates New Brunswick Day at Doiron House

New Brunswick Day activities will take place on Monday, August 5, 2024, from noon to 2 p.m. at Doiron House, which is located at 1150 Amirault Street.
Participants will be able to take part in a quiz about our province from noon to 1 p.m., with prizes for the winners.
Starting at 1 p.m., there will be Indigenous song and dance with traditional Mi’kmaq artists Shelly Robichaud and Amber and Rose Lawrence. Mi’kmaq artisan Ashley Sanipass will also be on hand to demonstrate basket weaving.

Roadwork – Closure of Bourque Road

DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that Bourque Road, between Clarence-Cormier Street and Melanson Road, will be completely closed to traffic on Tuesday, July 30 and Wednesday, July 31.
This closure is necessary to ensure the installation of sanitary sewer services for two new buildings.
Traffic control measures will be in place to direct motorists.

Dieppe Boulevard Extension (phase 1)

The City of Dieppe wishes to advise the public that the extension of Dieppe Boulevard will start on Monday, July 29. Work will consist of the construction of the new route, including water and sewer services, from the existing end of Dieppe Boulevard to approximately 400 metres south of LeBlanc Road. The extension will be carried out in three phases.
This major road construction project will improve traffic flow, upgrade our water and sewer system and expand our network of multipurpose trails.
